⊙ 2-Day Meisner Intensive
A live craft reset for actors who want to get out of their heads and become more spontaneous, connected, and truthful.
Inside Actor Craft Club drop-in classes, we work repetition and pieces of Meisner-based technique.
But drop-in classes can't do the one thing this work actually requires: build.
The Meisner progression is a sequence. Each exercise creates the conditions for the next one. Repetition teaches you to listen. The activity teaches you where to put your attention. The door brings another person into your world. Preparation brings you in already alive. Relationship makes all of it personal.
You can't experience that in pieces.
Most actors have heard of Meisner. Some have done repetition once or twice. Very few have felt how the work builds — and that's exactly where it starts changing your acting.
The 2-Day Meisner Intensive gives you a focused experience of the essential progression of Meisner-based work. Not a replacement for a two-year conservatory program. A serious foundation: enough consecutive time for the work to build, land in your body, and change how you show up in scenes and auditions.
⊙ What we'll work on — the progression builds
01
Repetition
Learning to listen, receive, and respond truthfully instead of planning your performance.
02
Independent Activity
Learning to put your attention on something difficult, specific, and meaningful so you stop watching yourself act.
03
Coming to the Door
Learning what happens when another person interrupts your world — and how behavior comes alive when your task meets another human being.
04
Emotional Preparation
Learning how imaginary circumstances can bring you in already affected, available, and alive.
05
Relationship
Learning how to make the other person matter so the work becomes personal instead of generic.
This is not technique for technique's sake.
The point is not to memorize acting terminology. The point is better acting and better auditions: freer impulses, deeper listening, more truthful responses, and more of yourself available in the work.
If your acting feels careful, planned, or too controlled, this intensive is designed to reconnect you to real behavior under imaginary circumstances.
This may be for you if…
You feel stuck in your head when you act.
You've heard of Meisner but never really experienced the progression.
You've done repetition but want to understand how the work builds.
Your auditions feel too planned, careful, or disconnected.
You want a focused craft reset without committing to a long program.
Why I'm Teaching It
The Neighborhood Playhouse, all the way through.
I trained in the full two-year Meisner conservatory program at the Neighborhood Playhouse. That training shaped the way I think about acting, listening, behavior, availability, imagination, and truth.
Inside Actor Craft Club, I use plain-language acting tools and Meisner-based exercises to help actors get out of theory and into the work. This intensive is the way to go deeper than a drop-in class ever can.
⊙ 1-Day Audition + Career Intensive
A focused live reset for actors who want clearer auditions, stronger materials, and a smarter plan.
The business of acting is not just headshots, agents, and submissions. It's learning how to show the industry where you fit — through your auditions, your materials, your choices, and your consistency.
A lot of actors are working hard, but still feel unclear.
They don't know if their tapes are strong enough.
They don't know if their headshots are helping.
They don't know what roles they should be pursuing.
They don't know what to fix first.
So they keep guessing.
The 1-Day Audition + Career Intensive is built to end the guessing: one focused day to build a clearer process and a smarter plan.

Next-Step Planning
How to decide what matters most over the next 90 days.
This is about clarity, not chaos.
You don't need to fix your entire career overnight. You need to know what matters now: clearer auditions, a calmer self-tape process, materials that say the right thing about you, and a real plan for the next 90 days.
If you feel like you're doing a lot but not moving forward, this day is designed to show you the path.
This may be for you if…
You don't have a reliable audition process.
You overthink self-tapes.
You struggle to make clear choices from sides.
Your materials feel outdated, vague, or mismatched.
You're unsure where you fit or what roles to pursue.
You want a practical plan for what to focus on next.
⊙ Choosing
Which intensive is right for you?
Start with the area that feels most urgent.
If your acting feels stuck, careful, disconnected, or too much in your head, start with:
2-Day Meisner Intensive
If your auditions, self-tapes, materials, casting clarity, or career direction feel unclear, start with:
1-Day Audition + Career Intensive
Some actors will eventually want both. That makes sense — the craft and the career are connected. But you don't need to fix everything at once. Start with the bottleneck that matters most right now.

Want to be notified when one of these opens?
I'm currently gauging interest before locking in dates and opening enrollment.
The first pilot will be small — small enough that every actor gets seen, coached, and supported — and it will run at a founding rate.
If you're interested, fill out the short form and tell me which intensive you want first access to.

⊙ FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
Are these live or self-paced?
Live. The point is not to watch content. The point is to work, ask questions, receive feedback, and experience the training in real time.
Will there be replays?
There may be replays for teaching portions, but the live work is the main value. For the Meisner Intensive especially, the real benefit comes from participating, not watching.
Do I need Meisner experience?
No. The Meisner Intensive is designed as a foundation experience — you don't need prior Meisner training. If you've done Meisner before, it works as a reset: a way to reconnect to the progression of the work.
Is the Meisner Intensive a replacement for two years of training?
No. It's not a replacement for a full conservatory program. It's a focused way to experience the essential progression of the work and understand how the pieces connect.
Which intensive should I take first?
If your acting feels stuck, disconnected, careful, or too controlled, start with the Meisner Intensive. If your auditions, self-tapes, materials, or career direction feel unclear, start with the Audition + Career Intensive. If you're not sure, take the Actor Clarity Quiz.
Will these run regularly?
The first pilot decides. If it delivers and actors want more, intensives become a regular part of Actor Craft Club. Until then, the first-access list is where dates get announced first.
How much will they cost?
The first pilot runs at a founding rate — the lowest these will ever be. Join the first-access list and you'll see the number before anyone else.
Who are these for?
Actors who want practical training, clearer direction, and honest feedback. Especially actors who are tired of vague advice and want a more focused next step.

I'm keeping the first pilot small. Tell me which intensive you're interested in, and I'll send details when enrollment opens.
